On Dec. 4, 2025, the Federal Reserve Board announced a request for information on potential strategic changes to the Federal Reserve Financial Services Check Services. The Board wants to understand stakeholder needs as it considers future changes.
As the nation’s central bank, the Federal Reserve actively works towards improving the safety and efficiency of the nation’s payment system. The Federal Reserve Banks encourages all stakeholders, including individuals, businesses, banks, processors and providers, to submit comments by March 9. The Board looks forward to reviewing the public feedback and comments.
