More browser options are now here for FedLine® Solutions!

The Federal Reserve Banks now provide support for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge® for use with the FedLine Web® and FedLine Advantage® Solutions. These changes align with the Federal Reserve Banks’ efforts to provide organizations with flexibility when it comes to browser diversity and security assurance. Additionally, the support of additional browsers allows FedLine applications to work with newer standards that will help to improve the user experience.

Next steps and support

When you begin using a new browser, you may need to work with your organization’s local IT department to ensure the browser is installed on the PC you use to access FedLine. FedLine Advantage Subscribers will need to download and install the new FedLine Advantage software package, which includes a new version of the FedLine Advantage Connection Utility that will work with Chrome and Edge. Download and install instructions for the software package are available to FedLine Advantage End User Authorization Contacts (EUACs) in Alerts/Announcements in FedLine Home.

Effective October 31, 2021, the Federal Reserve Banks will no longer support Internet Explorer® 11 for use with the FedLine Web or FedLine Advantage Solutions. In order to stay compliant with the Federal Reserve’s setup hardware and software requirements, your organization should begin using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge by that date. View the FedLine Web Hardware and Software Requirements and the FedLine Advantage Hardware and Software Requirements for more information.

If you have any general questions regarding browser support for FedLine, please contact the Support Center.
