The Federal Reserve Banks have updated the following business continuity guides, which are intended to help prepare your institution for potential service disruption events:
- Fedwire® Funds Service Business Continuity Guide
- Fedwire Securities Service Business Continuity Guide
- Fedwire Offline Services Contingency as a Limited Contingency Tool (link is available within the two business continuity guides)
- National Settlement Service Business Continuity Guide (new)
These guides provide important tips and best practices that your staff can take before, during and after a disruption to help keep your operations running as smoothly as possible.
Given the coronavirus, your staff may be working remotely for extended periods of time, which means contingency preparedness is critical. Encourage your staff to be familiar with the information in these business continuity guides. Your contingency plans should also include ensuring that your credentialed staff are able to access and use the FedPayments® Manager application from a remote location.
All the business continuity guides are available via the Business Continuity Resource Center. We encourage you to bookmark this page for quick reference.
