Account Services Offerings

The Federal Reserve Banks maintain and monitor accounts for depository institutions in their respective districts. As a result, payment transactions can be settled efficiently by debiting the accounts of the depository institutions making payments and by crediting the accounts of depository institutions receiving payments.

The Federal Reserve Banks’ suite of Account Services offers a variety of reports and inquiry services that provide a reliable, complete, and timely source of information about entries debited or credited to an institution's account. Online delivery of the information is designed to maintain confidentiality and security since all transmissions are encrypted. These services include the following:

Account Management Information (AMI)

Account Management Information (AMI) is a powerful online tool that offers critical real-time information regarding your Federal Reserve Bank account and enables you to generate a variety of summary and detail reports. AMI can help you streamline operations, make better-informed decisions and comply with Federal Reserve Payments System Risk policy. AMI is included in the monthly fee for FedLine® access services, so there’s no reason not to take full advantage of this powerful account management tool.

Account Management Information Premium Services Suite

Account Management Information Premium Services Suite extends the features and benefits of AMI through an array of premium options, allowing your institution to receive additional summary and detail information, delivery options, and download opportunities and formats. Download options let you work with your data, analyze your information and share your results. Some AMI Premium services are already included in the monthly fee for FedLine customer access services, and others can be added for a separate fee.

Daylight Overdraft Reports

Daylight Overdraft Reports are produced for financial institutions that incur daylight overdraft activity in their Federal Reserve Bank account as well as (or including) those institutions directed to receive reports for monitoring purposes.

Integrated Accounting System (IAS)

Integrated Accounting System (IAS) is used by the Federal Reserve Banks to record transactions and report key financial and operating data to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, the U.S. Treasury, and depository institutions. Information flows into the IAS from all Federal Reserve service areas and is made available to account holders daily through a variety of reports and services.

Service Charge Information

Service Charge Information provides a means for you to view your monthly Summary Statement of Service Charges and to “drill down” to view the details of these charges. SCI offers a variety of inquiry services, reports, and download capabilities that provide a reliable source of information to assist you in reconciling your Federal Reserve Bank billing service charges.

Statement of Service Charges

The Statement of Service Charges details service charges and transaction data for your depository institution based on services performed by the Federal Reserve Banks. These monthly statements may be accessed as part of the Service Charge Information service described above or delivered via direct connection or FedMail access solutions.
