2009 Memorial Day Holiday Instructions

The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2009 for the Memorial Day Holiday. Please refer to the instructions listed for your local office below.

FedACH® Holiday Instructions

FedACH will close for Memorial Day at 03:00 AM ET on Saturday, May 23, 2009, and will resume processing at 5:30 PM ET on Monday, May 25, 2009, with the third file delivery beginning at 8:15 PM ET.

Cash Holiday Instructions

First District

Boston

If your normal delivery day is Monday, May 25, you will not receive your cash order prior to the holiday. If you need cash for the holiday, please order extra on the previous week.  

If your normal delivery day is Tuesday, May 26 place your cash order one day earlier than your normal order day.

Orders placed on Friday, May 22nd before 2 p.m. Eastern Time will be available for armored carrier pickup from the Federal Reserve Bank on Tuesday, May 26th.

Attention cash order users! This message is in reference to the upcoming Holiday. The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day Holiday. If your currency and coin orders are normally picked up at the Federal Reserve on Monday, May 25, the alternate pick up day is scheduled for Friday, May 22, before the holiday. If you normally place your order on Friday, for Monday pick up, your order must be placed before your deadline on Thursday, May 21. If you normally place your order on Monday, for Tuesday pick up, you must place your order before your deadline on Friday, May 22.
