This resource center was designed to provide, in one location, the background information and tools you need to use the Federal Reserve Banks’ international payments services.

International Payment Tools

- Foreign Exchange Rate Calculator – Helps in calculating amounts involved in FedGlobal ACH Payments transactions both in USD and foreign currency and provides the foreign exchange rate used on an origination or settlement date
- Remittances Resource Guide (PDF) – Provides facts and figures about the remittance market to Latin America, ideas on developing a business case, as well as a marketing plan and information on regulatory compliance requirements

- Dodd-Frank Section 1073 Information for Financial Institutions – The Federal Reserve Banks have issued information and guidance for financial institutions in complying with Section 1073 of the Dodd-Frank Reform Act. Information has been provided for both Fedwire and FedGlobal ACH Payments customers.

- FedACH® International ACH Transaction (IAT) Resource Center – Designed for general use in navigating the IAT standard entry class (SEC) code within your financial institution’s ACH processing activity
- FedACH IAT Output File Sort (Sign-Up Instructions (PDF) and FAQs (PDF)) Offers the ability for Receiving Points and RDFIs to receive their IAT items in a separate file from their domestic items to easily identify IAT items
